Questions, answered.
What counts as an agent-confirmed booking?+
A booking inserted into the database where created_via is 'agent_api' or 'chat' — i.e., the agent did the work. Bookings made by humans through your public profile or a shared link never count toward this quota.
Why is Free so generous on agent bookings (100/month)?+
AgentCal's whole point is letting AI agents book for you. We want indie devs to wire it into Claude Desktop, Cursor, custom GPTs without a credit card. 100 bookings/month is enough to validate any integration and let real usage start.
Can I switch from Pro to Teams mid-month?+
Yes. The upgrade is pro-rated — you're billed the difference immediately and renew on the new plan. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.
Do I need to pick Teams OR Agent API?+
No. They're orthogonal. Teams is per-seat (humans coordinating). Agent API is per-booking (AI products you build). A Teams account can also have an Agent API plan attached — pay both.
Is the MCP server free?+
Yes — the @agentcal/mcp npm package (stdio) is free to self-host, MIT-licensed. The hosted HTTP MCP endpoint (/api/mcp) is included in every paid tier including Free's 100 bookings/month allowance.
How does PAYG Agent API billing work?+
$0.05 per agent-confirmed booking. No minimum, no commit. We invoice monthly for the previous month's usage. Stripe Usage Records reconcile nightly. You can set a hard monthly cap in the dashboard to prevent runaway bills.
What's included in the 'remove AgentCal branding' feature?+
On Free, your booking page shows 'Powered by AgentCal' in the footer. On Pro and above, that toggle is yours — turn it off and visitors see only your brand. Custom domain + custom logo work together to make AgentCal completely invisible.
What payment methods do you support?+
Credit card and SEPA via Stripe for Free / Pro / Teams. Wire transfer + ACH + invoicing (Net 30/60) for Enterprise contracts. Prices in USD. EU VAT / sales tax auto-applied based on billing address.
Do you offer non-profit or student discounts?+
Yes. 50% off Pro for verified non-profits and edu email domains. Email hello@insightrix.eu with proof of status — we typically respond within a day.
Cancellation policy?+
Cancel anytime in /settings → Billing. Pro & Teams subscriptions run until the end of the current period (no proration). Agent API PAYG stops billing the day you revoke your last API key. No clawback for unused quota, no exit fees.
Where are you incorporated and where's the data?+
AgentCal is operated by Insightrix SASU, a French SAS based at 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris (SIREN 989 236 856 · VAT FR42989236856). Hosting is Vercel (EU edge regions). AI inference runs on Scaleway in fr-par (Paris). Postgres on Supabase. Storage on Supabase Storage. EU data residency available on Enterprise.
